Materials/Sizing:
What types of materials do you use?
We use very high quality materials. All necklaces, bracelets and earrings are made with Sterling silver, Bali silver and gold-filled beads. In addition, we use Swarovski Austrian crystals and semi-precious gemstones, in many shapes and sizes. We string our pieces on 49-strand stainless steel beading wire, which is very durable.
What is the size of your block letter beads?
We use 4.8mm sterling silver block letter beads. We will accomodate alternative block letter sizes and shapes for special orders, however, price and delivery time will vary due to the special order.
How do I know what size to order?
The standard adult woman's bracelet size is 7 1/4 to 7 1/2 inches. To find the most accurate size, use a flexible measuring tape and measure your wrist above your wrist bone (where you'd wear your watch). If you do not have a flexible measuring tape, use a string and measure it against a ruler. Once you obtain that measurement, you want to add about 1 inch to determine the overall size you will need. Otherwise, take a bracelet that fits the way you like and measure it end to end. It is important to be as accurate as possible on the size, as there is a $5 charge per strand for resizing. How can I pay for my jewelry?
At this time, Dangles HandCrafted Jewelry accepts paypal payments,
personal checks and money orders. Should you wish to pay with a check
or money order, be advised that your order will be shipped once payment
has been cleared.
How do you package your jewelry for shipment?
Your Dangles piece will arrive in a beautiful burgundy, organza, drawstring pouch. This pouch will be wrapped in a few layers of tissue paper and placed in a padded envelope, along with your invoice. This pouch is the perfect place to store your jewelry, to protect it from the elements, when not being worn. However, by nature, sterling silver tarnishes, so it's always handy to have a polishing cloth nearby. We have them available for purchase, but for orders totalling $50 and over, you will receive one free.
Where do you ship your products?
At this time, Dangles Handcrafted Jewelry only ships throughout the United States, excluding Hawaii and Alaska. International orders cannot be accepted at this time. We ship our products using USPS First Class Mail, which can take between 7 & 10 days (or more during holiday seasons).
Will I have to pay sales tax?
Only if you live in our beautiful state of Michigan. Dangles HandCrafted Jewelry is required to collect 6.00% sales tax on orders shipped to residents of Michigan. Any orders shipped outside of the state of Michigan will not be charged sales tax.
Can I return my jewelry pieces?
Yes, but there are exceptions. Uncustomized (i.e.--gemstone designs, earrings, etc.) pieces can be returned within 7 days for a full refund minus your cost to ship it back. Customized (i.e. - mother bracelets, grandmother bracelets, etc.) pieces will be exchange only. These pieces were made to your specifications and are one-of-a-kind. They can not be resold. However, we want you to be completely satisified with your Dangles original, so we will work with you until you are. Please email us at
